Along with UK property scene The Spanish Property Market is also going through a difficult time. As a result, those of you thinking to buy on The Costa del Sol and the Costa Blanca could well pick up a bargain. While new properties are continuing to be built, a lot of the large construction projects have been stopped until economic climate improves. The Estate Agents are struggling to move resale properties and are now charging lower commissions to help the situation. It is a buyers market. The web site www.costadelsolweb.com can guide you to properties for both rent and sale, The estate agents are focused on providing a personal service for buyers and sellers at realistic prices. There are bargain Properties for sale on the Costa del Sol and also cheap Properties for sale on the Costa Blanca. Most Properties are now changing hands at a discount some by as much as 25% to 30% below the original asking price, Although the favourable exchange rate has gone for the time being and who knows when UK buyers will again have that advantage..
All of this is good news for buyers and although there is still a demand in The Costa de Sol & The Costa Blanca for properties over one million euro. Do not be afraid to negotiate. Serious vendors have to accept offers if they wish to sell quickly. Good properties can be picked up in desirable locations well below the advertised price. For example a 3 bedroom villa with pool in the Javea area is available for A BARGAIN PRICE of only 259,000 euro at www.lowcostvilla.com or CLICK HERE

Investigate the market, look at your location options, renting in the area before you buy is always a good idea and the Costa del Sol Web can help you with this. If you want a quick decision from the Vendors make sure that you have your finance in place so that you can prove that you are serious and can move fast.
Before you buy it is a good idea to speak to the President or Aministrator of the community. In Spain many Villas and Apartments are located within Urbanisations which are run as Communities. it is important to know that the Property you are buying has no debts and is in a well run communidad. Ask when the last AGM was held and request a copy of the minutes, This should give you an indication if there are any problems
The Costa del Sol is still one of the most popular Holiday destinations and a most desirable place to live. A lot of people want to be here and this has underpinned many prices especially in unique locations. Be prepared not all vendors will accept a reduction in their selling price. For more information on the Estepona area visit www.esteponaguide.com
The Villa shown above is such a Property which is now a bargain price villa at 1,970,000 euro having been reduced from 2,750,000 euro giving a huge saving of £402,000 or 600,000 euro, At this price it should sell fast. It has magnificent views (as shown below) one of the best if not the best on the Costa del Sol.

Andalucia is a place where you will find a culture as diverse as anywhere in the world. You will also on the Costa del Sol experience the finest climate in the world and is sometimes referred to as the “California of Europe”. Where else can you enjoy a morning on the “pista” in the morning in the Sierra Nevada ski resorts above Granada followed later in the day by a swim in the sparkling blue mediterranean waters of the Costa del Sol or a round of Golf in the warm evening sun in what is now known as the Costa del Golf.
The Coast has wide choice of sporting activities to please everyone all year round. It is the perfect place to find every type of water sport from scuba diving to windsurfing or sailing from the many Marinas. Puerto Banus the most famous of the marinas dotted along the coast is also known for its nightlife and shopping. From early in the morning until late at night you can shop until you drop in Banus and neighbouring chic Marbella. Both have a wealth of designer boutiques in the American style Shopping Malls which contain the best in European chain stores. There you can obtain the best furniture and fashion designs from around the world.

Estepona Town
The town of ESTEPONA is the the most westerly holiday resort on the Costa del Sol. It is approximately 80 km from Malaga and sits on the coast between the Sierra Bermeja mountain range and the coastline west of Marbella towards Gibraltar.
Estepona retains much of its fishing traditions which is illustrated by the daily fish auction which takes place on the quayside by the marina. The town itself is a picturesque traditional place consisting of whitewashed buildings which are repainted each year to keep a fresh but authentic atmosphere in this peaceful pueblo style resort which has managed to accept tourism without giving up its Spanish way of life.
Estepona Travel
Estepona is a great place for the family holiday be it in a villa, apartment or hotel of which there are many from which to choose. If you are new to the area why not rent on line with the advertisers on this website. This would be a good starting point as their teams at can give local and friendly advice. Most holiday makers arrive via Malaga Airport which is 1 hour’s drive from Estepona. There are frequent direct bus services from the Airport to Marbella bus station where you would have to change for Estepona. To make the most of your stay a Rental Car from the Airport may be the best solution. This would also allow you to explore some of the white villages in the area such as Casares which is a typical white Andalucian village in the hills not far from Estepona
When you first visit Estepona you will be charmed by the narrow cobbled streets, squares and patios all decorated with an abundance of flowers. There are no real high rise blocks in the area and all the new buildings blend with the old style The new buildings are mainly hotels of four or five star standard. In surrounding area there has been a large increase in new villa and apartment building some of which has been around the numerous golf courses.
Estepona Beaches
Estepona’s main Rada beach although not the finest of sand it is wide, long and clean. It has all the usual beach facilities and attractions such as pedalos parasailing and jet skiing. Bordering the beach there is a long palm tree lined promenade on which there are a number of beach bars (chiringuitos)
Estepona Restaurants
As you would expect in a tourist town of this standard there is a vast number of Estepona Restaurants of every type and nationality... you will find it hard to choose... as everyone has their favourites.
Estepona Golf
Estepona is at the heart of the Costa del Sol from a golf viewpoint with many world class golf courses within easy reach. A full list of the golf courses can be viewed at www.costadelsolweb.com The mild winter climate makes golf a pleasure at this time of year and indeed throughout the year however in the height of summer the long light evenings are best suited for golf
Estepona Family Holiday
Estepona is a perfect place for a family holiday as it gives you the best of both worlds. You can choose either a quiet holiday or if you wish you can enter into the local nightlife which in Estepona’s case is centered mainly around the marina or you are not far away from Puerto Banus which is one of Europe’s top nightspots

The Costa Blanca has many attractions both for the holiday maker and the resident tourist. Situated between Valencia to the North and Alicante in the South the Costa Blanca has some fine beaches. Benidorm located in almost the centre of the area is the largest holiday town. It is also home to Terra Mitica the largest theme park on the Costa Blanca.
For those looking for something quieter the Javea and Moraira area is a better bet

Javea lies about 80 kilometers north of Alicante almost mid way between Valencia and Alicante. It is sheildedfrom the cold winds by the Montgo Mountain. Views from the “Montgo” in the the National Park are magnificent but it is quite a climb...you have to be fit. Javea stretches along the blue Medierranean sea which sparkles with sunshine most of the year.
There are three distinct parts to Javea which gives you the best of all worlds. First there is the old part of the town which has not changed much over the years and has medieval architecture and the houses are built along the the narrow streets in traditional style. The old town leads down to the harbour and fishing port, here you will find the Javea fishing boats along side the private yachts and motor cruisers moored at the Javea Nautical Club. The Fishing Port is where the morning catch is auctioned off to the local restaurants. Around this area you will find a number shops, cafes and bars where you will be able to find a place in the sun to watch the world go by.
The modern part of Javea is to be found at the southern end of the bay at the Arenal Beach. This has a real holiday atmosphere and everything that a holiday maker could ask for. There are lots of restaurants and bars along the promenade and on the beach you will find soft clean sand which runs into the mostly warm shallow water of the Mediterranean.
The area around Javea in the triangle bounded by Moraira, teulada and Javea is different from the rest of Spain in that with some narrow winding roads and vine groves, it has a “French” feel the surrounding countryside.

Moraria is lovely quiet town which has grown from its origins as a peaceful fishing village. It has developed through tourism into what it is today, which is still a small up market location for the many foreigners who have either settled or bought a holiday home here. those who have bought in Moraira think that it is a wonderful place to live. The number of new residents has brought with it all necessary modern services to the town to meet the needs of the large number of people who live in the pine covered hills that surround the area.
Although there has been some development it has been done with care and what has been done, does enhance the Moraira Town center. The main street is short and cobbled with a number of other newer streets leading off to various sheltered squares. This is where you will find the majority of shops and bars and the Moraira estate agents.
The Moraira Beach is a blue flag beach and the total coastline stretches for 8 kilometers and includes 6 separate beaches with the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean along which there are many restaurants right on the beach . Those who run the Town are committed to make those who visit Moraira feel welcome and to maintain the present ambience for the future.
It is unusual to get two towns so close together which offer so much for the holiday maker and long time resident, as with Javea you will also enjoy Moraira
What a wonderful area to live, work, play & holiday. . . even a place when you retire and live the good life.
